Thought 1: I really do prefer the instrumental/English release version of the opening song.

Thought 2: You couldn't have chosen a better game? :( (I should clarify: FFVII is the thing I don't like. ToA is a thing I love.)

It really is quite unfortunate. The scene at 1.30 where Zack is surrounded by soldiers was, in the ToA opening, a very sweet little moment where Luke, the protagonist, protects his cousin/fiancee after her Kingdad turns on her. I much prefer that to this.
