Things have been happening!

I now have a guaranteed room at residence, after three-something weeks of wait listing. I'll be living here, hopefully as a Lampman Dino or a Harriet Tubman Polar Bear because how awesome would that be, also I have a single room so hell yes for not having to share a living space! Except I will be sharing a communal kitchen and bathroom.

I am registered with an awful schedule. :D The amount of transfer credits I have lined up with exactly the last section to open registration, so all the good classes were taken. I am taking, among other things, Introduction to Finance and Introduction to Macroeconomics for my electives. I am going to enjoy it, though. Nothing is sexier than lots of money and maybe they'll be teaching me how to make it. That would be cool.

But, seriously. Registration opened the 4th and I'm not allowed to register until the 24th? That is not nice, Future School!

So I've begun packing up all my stuff. My grandparents are allowing me to stick all my worldly possessions in their basement for the foreseeable future which saves me storage space! Not today, though.

Today, I've INTERNETED.



I want to start doing DW liveplay of videogames again. As long as it's not Crisis Core. That game makes me want to die.

Harriet Tubman Polar Bear

Harriet Tubman... ...Polar Bear

I can't stop wondering why.

Harriet Tubman (1820-1913) was a courageous and compassionate woman who, as a "conductor" on the Underground Railroad, guided Blacks from slavery to freedom. While based in St. Catharines, she is credited with nineteen dangerous journeys and with bringing 300 escaped slaves to the city. Called "Black Moses" for her indomitable spirit, she recieved a Diamond Jubilee Medal from Queen Victoria and was honoured with a commemorative stamp from the U.S. government -- the first in the Black Heritage U.S.A. Series.

Because she was very... heroic. And maybe occasionally ate people. :D

I once had a classmate in a literary class argue that "black ice" is a racist term, because it's bad ice. Of course, it's bad because it's invisible against a black road, not called black because it's bad... /sob

Both games are slow! In Harvest Moon nobody likes me yet. :( I've learned that the boys only get married to other girls if you're friends with their girls, so now I'm only trying to marry boys who would get married to girls that I hate. :D Like Chase, the cute rude guy with the hairclips. His would-be wife sucks!

And in Kingdoms of Amalur, I'm still wrapping up small quests before I move on to the next area. /flops

HOW MANY VILLAGES HAVE YOU BEEN RUN OUT OF DUE TO MURDERING PEOPLE? Come on. Tell me. It's at least three, right. Right.
