→ a) Buy myself a ticket for FF Distant Worlds and go by myself like a motherfucking boss.

→ b) Don't do that because the funeral that I haven't decided if I'm going to and don't know anything about yet could be that weekend.



It seems so obvious when I say it like that but there is no way I can justify telling Colin, "I can't attend your mother's funeral, I'm going to a concert."

ETA: I thought about it for five more seconds and bought the ticket. DISTANT WORLDS!

Could you possibly do both? Even if the funeral is that day, I would guess (?) the concert would be in the evening and I've never been to an evening funeral. Unless the funeral would put enough distance between you and the concert location that you couldn't get there in time...

See, that would be ideal! But if they're the same day, or even a day apart, it would likely be impossible. The funeral is going to be in Ottawa, which is a several hour train ride from here. I'd have to stay the night.

Not to mention the concert is expensive. A single ticket is looking like $80 and I don't think I'd be able to get a refund. If I buy a ticket, I'm damn well going. xD
