# 27 ; a smattering of nothing important!

So my remaining housemates moved out. I'm all alone in the house right now and thankfully, while this hasn't increased my rent from being dirt cheap, it's also a fair bit of work on my part. I've been going through all the rooms and cleaning them, laying tape around the foundation of the walls so when the painters can come in, they can paint uninhibited, and otherwise doing plenty of little chores I never bothered to do when others were living here. It's also disorienting because I never go upstairs - my bedroom is on the first floor and half the time I sleep in the basement anyway, so upstairs is completely foreign to me. I find it pretty creepy, to see it empty and wide. Not to mention going up and down the stairs when I am specifically supposed to do not that isn't helping my knee.

My goal for this week? Scrub the upstairs kitchen cupboards. My house has two kitchens. Because it is that special.

I also spent the entire morning filling out forms for entrance awards and bursaries at my future university, so hopefully that will merit something more than me struggling to scrape together my tuition fee. The OSAP forms for the 2012/2013 school year have still not opened yet, and while it makes sense in theory since most students get accepted in May, not January, for that year -- it's still frustrating. I don't have an income right now and it's not as if I have a great deal of marketable skills for the terrible job market. Need someone to run a photo lab? Great! Need someone to do anything else? Ehhhh...

Basically, I want to apply for my loans so I can have that worry off my back. :D

True story: Taco Bell lost its license to have a franchise location in my city. The health department shut it down because the meat wasn't up to par.

...I try not to eat the ground beef, but if you get their fresco tacos, they can come with chunks of real beef, or chunks of chicken...
